Today, after work, I got to my car and found a giant dent in my rear bumper. The jerk who did this did not leave a note. Apparently, he was in such a haste to flee the scene of the crime that he didn’t even realize his license plate fell off of his car. What goes around comes around. MMT

Today, in the grocery store parking lot, I watched a man run as fast as he could with a packed shopping cart and then jump on the back for a ride. He smiled and chuckled aloud as he rode the cart all the way to his car. He was in his mid-40's and wearing a formal suit and tie. MMT

Today, I was driving to a job interview when I saw a businesswoman standing next to her BMW on the side of the road. She had a flat tire. I pulled over and helped her put on the spare. When I arrived to the interview, the woman who I helped ended up being the CEO of the company. I got the job. MMT

Today, my boss sat me down in his office to talk to me about my performance at work. He gave me some of the most sincere compliments I have ever received. Today when I read the news about the healthcare debate, I thought of my dad, who died of colon cancer at 86. When the doctor told him he could have 6 to 8 more weeks with chemo and radiation, my dad was horrified. "Spend Medicare money on me when there are kids without health insurance? I'm 86!" MMT
