Today, an 81 year old woman enrolled in my beginner’s computer applications course at the university where I teach. When I asked her why she decided to learn about computers, she said, “I want to learn how to send emails to my boyfriend.” MMT

She said she can hear the tune in her mind and feel it under her skin. And then, almost flawlessly, she sang the first few verses to me as we slow danced in the living room. MMT
