Today my colleague told me a story of his past where he was abandoned by his parents and left with barely any money to live off of. Many times, he would be so hungry that he'd eat out of the trash. He worked to put himself through middle school, high school and college. I would have never have imagined this part of his life, because he is so bright, outgoing and extremely successful in all that he does. His ability to thrive despite his past and scars MMT.

Today, I interviewed a very successful businessman who also happens to be a quadriplegic. When I asked him what the number one thing was that led to his success, he paused for a moment and said, “It was a change in mindset that happened about two years after I lost movement in my body. I started living life like I had a lot less to lose.” MMT
