Its all perspective. If you stereotype it an introverted person isn't expected to have a lot of friends. This guy didn't have just one good friend but three good friends all of whom wanted him as their best man. The popular people may be the loudest, more outgoing people but the shy introverted ones are the ones you want standing by your side at the best day of your life.
It makes you think that all the stories about introverts involves them having three friends. Introvert is not the same as recluse.
