Today, a family of Muslims came into our church during a heavy rainstorm. They sat in the back, knelt down, and began to pray. I overheard one of their young children ask, “Why are we praying in here? This is not a mosque.” The father looked down at his child and said, “We all have different paths and beliefs, but there is only one God, and he loves us all the same. This is a lovely place for us to pray and relax until the rain stops.” MMT

If only everyone thought like that, or could be that peaceful. The world would have a lot less needless wars. Thanks for sharing this

I am not religious at all, I don't believe in God. However, I teach my children that it is OK if they believe, and that they need to understand and respect the beliefs of others. The bottom line that most people forget is that it is OK to respect others that are different than you, even if or especially if you don't agree with them.

Nice to know that there are people that actually has religious tolerance. Hope his kids grows up like their father.

While I was deployed our Muslim interpreter lead most of our before mission prayers. Open your eyes and experience other religions and cultures, it really makes a difference on your life.
