Makes Me Think - Today, my wife and I are on vacation spending a week with my parents at their house. As we were going to sleep last night, my dad knocked softly and then walked into the guest bedroom where we were sleeping. I was half asleep, and didn’t respond to the knock, but I felt him give me a kiss on my forehead and tuck my covers in tighter. In that moment as I drifted off to sleep, I realized it was the first time my father had done something like that since I was a kid. MMT
