Today, I was sitting on a bench in the French Quarter watching bubbles float by in the breeze that a little girl down the block was blowing. At one point, an elderly man who was having trouble walking stopped in the middle of the sidewalk to pop a bubble with the end of his cane. MMT

It's wonderfully poetic, everything is created and with age and distance must come to an end. :D

this just made my day!

life is wonderful

I saw this happen. I was there. That's amazing. I love this city.

I love this city too, this made me smile what a beautiful image. I see the most beautiful things in the quarter just wandering around. last week I saw a little White boy sing a song (i think hakuna matata...?) with one of the old Black jazz players who got on his knees to be the same hight as the boy-the whole street sang along and people took pictures

I hope there are still bubble blowing kids when I get older.
