Today, when she woke up from an eleven month coma, she kissed me and said, “Thank you for being here, and telling me those beautiful stories, and never giving up on me... And yes, I will marry you.” MMT

that's amazing! i'm so happy for you 2!

that. is. AWESOME. Congratulations.

Things like this are what make you realise that miracles do happen. Congrats anday you have a long and wonderful life with your fiancé!

I don't mean to be a pessimist as I do believe in miracles...but someone waking from an 11th month coma is not going to immediately talk and probably remember much of anything...just my take on that but very sweet none the less.

I am assuming that the today is not "today" as in the same day...

It would be quite a difference in time before she could speak normally or lean over to kiss him if she had been in a coma for eleven months. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I'm doubtful about this one.

That's amazing. You love her and she loves you, congrats.

hmm. i choose to believe in your story and your love. congrats, that's incredible! (sheesh...some people just weren't hugged enough when they were kids. haha. don't mind them, enjoy your moment and your life with her.)

Excuse me, tpayne? Because I'm educated enough to know a medically implausible scenario, my family somehow wasn't good enough to me as a child? My assertion has evidence. Yours is a personal attack. You're not a better person because your sentimentality makes you a fool.

I think I'll believe you, I believe in miracles no matter how far fetched they seem, if this is fake, well then I heard a good story that made me smile when I needed one. I so happy that you waited for her and its just a reminder that there are still people who will wait for the right one. Thanks for the reminder XD

I'm sorry, when did ignorance become a virtue? Hadassah, why can't you just be happy that he waited for her to get well, and not make yourself believe the other part of the story that isn't true/possible?

what's your obsession with ruining this story

Have you read the MMT about the blood transfusion that went to a guy's sister? When everyone posted that donors' names are kept private, it takes at least a week to test the blood, and you cannot physically donate "a few pints" at one time, yes, it ruined the story - but doesn't the implicit lie already ruin it? No wonder the United States ranks so low on math and science scores. We have a strange aversion to truth, to facts. What's YOUR obsession with closing your mind, why believe something impossible than something real?

Do you also believe ashmcb and seraphimfive ruined this story?

tpayne, I like your style :) lichen, shut get over it. I don't really care how medically educated you are. Some things defy science, whether or not this story is true or not. It was a happy thought and I enjoyed reading it, but your comments are pissing me off. Why are you so obsessed with this argument? If you want to lecture on medicine, go to WebMD or something.

I don't know if I'm the only one that noticed this, but it never actually said that she heard him while in a coma... So... good luck with that one, Lichen.

that was really beautuiful and sweet good job good man... im teary from this
