This is so sad and so touching. I wish my boyfriend understood why I got so angry and upset when he wanted to try smoking and brought it up all those times.
I've gotten teary eyed while reading a lot of these but this one made me cry. I just threw away my cigarettes.
Annnnnnnd then he gets hit by a bus two months later.
Or dies of a weight problem linked to quitting smoking.
Or gets cancer from the smoking he DID do for ten years.
Glad he quit smoking, but it rubs me the wrong way that it seems like it's implied he WILL live longer.
