Today, after being insulted by a guy I work with, I walked out of the office with a heavy heart only to find a note card on my car’s windshield. It was from my ex-boyfriend of 2 years who is simply my best friend now. It said, "Would it be okay if I sorta had a little crush on you forever?" MMT

I just recently split up from a guy I've been best friends with for quite some time. He's the only one I trust. And even if we weren't together for long, I still love him. And he still loves me. So this one really hit home.

This made me realize that I'm going to sorta have a crush on my ex forever, too. I'm not sure if I'm okay with it, but I can learn to accept it.

My exboyfriend is also my best friend. I won't have a crush on him forever; I'll love him forever. Everyday a part of me wonders what would've happened if we lived closer to each other. Seeing this gave me hope that theres a chance things could work out again.
