Today marks the 20th anniversary of a terrible car accident. In the accident, a 16-year-old boy was driving when he lost control of the car on a dark, icy road. Just before the impact with another car, he threw himself over his four-year-old little sister in the passenger seat. I was that four-year-old girl, and that 16-year-old boy was my brother. This experience is one of the few vivid memories I have of my brother, but almost every day I think of him. And he MMT.

I've never believed stories of drivers jumping in front of their passengers before an impact to save them. If they are able to do that, they're irresponsible drivers. If it was "just before the impact," you'd probably have one to two seconds. To be able to take off your seatbelt in one to two seconds, when you're about to hit another car, seems almost impossible to me, unless you're not wearing your seatbelt, which, in that case, means you probably deserve to die.

I had to make an account to comment here. Dzbx, you are a sick, sick person. How DARE you say such a horrific thing. NOONE deserves death, and to say such a thing is so disgusting that i actually fell sick at the mere thought. Fir your information, I myself went though something like the above comment. I was the child (Six years old) and my cousin was the driver (eighteen). He knew there was no chance of avoiding the crash and he covered me. Lucky, we both walked away safely, merely because the other driver hit a patch of ice and jerked to the side at the last minute. Are you going to call me a liar too? To the submitter, I am SO sorry for your loss. No matter how long ago, pain like that never really fades. Your brother was a very brave person and may he Rest In Peace

Not a liar, just a gullible moron.
