Today, I have been living with narcolepsy and cataplexy. Narcolepsy is a thief of emotion, a scrambler of thoughts, and a jailor of its victims. Reality and hallucinations are intertwined in a dubious dance that leaves the narcoleptic skeptical of his or her own take on reality. I am afraid of losing myself and becoming my disorders. I have to remember that I'm still myself. I am still there. I am strong. My strength so far to not allow this condition to completely rule over me MMT.
