Today at the diner where I work, an elderly couple came in for the 4th time this week and requested my table. I asked them what kept them coming back. They told me that I reminded them of their granddaughter who passed away 6 years ago. Then they told me her name. She was my best friend at the time. MMT

oh no that's so sad :(

this really shows how much someone can be a part of you without you even knowing. the power of being yourself. thanks for sharing this story.

You hadn't met your best friends parents before?

JustLive, she wrote "granddaughter". It means they're her grandparents, not parents. OP: That's really sad, but also kind of beautiful knowing that you still have something of her with you. I'm sorry for your loss, even though it's a long time since.

wow. That gave me goosebumps. That is definitely a sign from your bff. God bless.

My apologies, I misread the post.

I got goosebumps from this one too. And it was funny, because when I decided to click on the comments, I knew someone else shared that feeling with me. Awesome, JammSchra.

Stop spamming your made up story, waitingforlove. What point are you trying to make with all this? If you gave the baby up for adoption without contact with the parents, they wouldn't let you name her. One of many inconsistencies.

Yea... and if you were 14 and pregnant how would your parents not know about it?
