Today, I was jogging in Central Park when this lady started screaming for help. Her husband was having a heart attack. I ran over and checked his pulse. He didn't have one. I gave him CPR and got his heart beating before the paramedics arrived. I've done some bad things in my life, but today I saved a life. MMT

You did a wonderful thing and should be commended! That being said, CPR does not restart a heart, it only keeps it beating until the heart is shocked back into rhythm.

#1, there's many things that could have happened in this case, it's possible that the man who had the heart attacks pulse was very faint, enough to not be noticed by the OP but also enough to keep him alive through CPR, also, it could be that the OP was so brutal at beginning CPR that that restarted his heartbeat ^^' You did a good job OP, I'm proud of you :D

that is friggin' rad.

You can always start over. No matter how bad your mistakes were before. Perhaps this is just the beginning

umm just so ya know, you can't make someone's heart start beating with CPR. CPR just pushes oxygen to the organs so that they don't die. It's impossible to bring someone back without a defibrillator and even those just regulate your heart beat....
