Yes. Tell him. He needs people to tell him that despite all his injuries or anything which might cause any harm to his body, people still do love him.

Good for you! Tell him how you feel, and that you still love him despite his injury. And thank him for his service and sacrifice, what he's doing is just as hard as telling him you love him. How did it go?
