I think (or rather I hope) that everyone who has been through a divorce can relate to this. My almost-six year old son hasn't asked yet why his mom and I got divorced. But the one thing I do know: I will always be a better daddy to him since we did. MMT

My 10 year old sister told me the same thing about my parents divorce. While i could only see the bad parts. Younger siblings must see the things differently then us.

My parents are seperated, they fight like crazy, my dad is gone for months for his job and they've been married for over 20 years. I tell people that I still sleep with my mom because my room is cold, it isn't, I just don't want her to be alone. When they ask, Why doesn't she sleep with your Dad? I say it's because my dad is too fat and they don't fit on her bed. My dad came home drunk last night, she hates his drinking problem.. Right now I think they need each other more than ever because I'm sitting on the couch and their sleeping on her bed.
