Today, I was on a public transit bus when a Catholic nun boarded the bus and sat right next to a Muslim. I listened to them speak peacefully about their own God and beliefs for nearly 30 minutes until I reached my stop. MMT

If only there were more like them in the world.

But there is (: You just don't see that on T.V.

I think the more seriously you take religion, the less judgmental you are of others who are on a similar spiritual journey. I mean, what does that nun care if the Muslim believes a few different things than she does, if they're both working to make the world a better place? To me, it's always telling when a religious leader starts bashing other religious leaders.

Wow, that's great(: I just wish that there were more people like this (like ResidualChaos said), that even though they might have different religions or beliefs, things like that, they can still get a long with each other(:

Though both religions are entirely different, but both historically (and even interlinked in the bible and koran in some instances,) similar: and though I myself am extremely partial to one and not the other; it is very easily possible to have polite and even intense conversation (even friendship) between the two without animosity. The two can even live in harmony and friendship: and in some parts of the world, Christians and Muslims DO SO! Though I have a very, very good friend who does not have the same Christian belief as me, I do not disrespect or challenge their personal decisions or beliefs. After all, free will is given to us, and Jesus was known as the friend of "sinners, and tax collectors, vagrants, and prostitutes," because they valued & admired his presence, virtue, and message. Even though those secular and religious of his time thought less of him, or thought him "nuts" to associate with these types, he did so, valuing them as human beings, not judging them - but loving them, and instead taught these people the message of God, and that message made a difference to them and their society as a whole. Thus: how can any of us live in peace or harmony (with one another ... even of different religious beliefs) if we don't TRY TO? We may have our prejudices, but we must have compassion & acceptance for one another - that is essential. It is easy to have compassion in that sense, and I can see where your nun and muslim are coming from... scholars both in the everlasting, never ending, eternal creation of the superior God. Yes, they will have a lot to talk about, amicably! =P - Shannen

This is how the world should be.

Thegnu must live a very sheltered life to think the wars, abuses of education and government, etc. are the product of universalism!

The world is like this, it just never makes news.
