I'm actually and exotic dancer at a club and i get called a slut and a whore all the time but I have a fiancee that i love and who is very supportive. You have to do what you have to do when jobs go overseas and the bills are unpaid.

I have a friend who legitimately worked as a stripper while putting herself through college - and she was a lesbian virgin. She didn't bother correcting the people who were shocked, just pointed out that she made their paycheck in a single night. Too often we want to shame women for making these choices and being exploited, but really, who's doing the exploiting?

i am a stripper. and i am not a slut, or a whore. why are we shaming what anyone has to do to make a living?
