okayy i might sound really stupid, but this is going right over my head....someone explain pleasee?

@anniebananie I think what the OP is saying is that she was going to ignore his call, but decided to answer it instead. He probably was calling to talk to her and was probably suicidal. If he hadn't talked to her he might have killed himself. Of course this is an assumption, but that's what I got from it.
