Today, I watched three young children meet for the first time on a playground in a local park. They all immediately acted like best friends, playing and laughing hysterically. They made me smile, and then I began to wonder why adults lack the ability to accept each other so easily. MMT

I was just thinking earlier about how lucky I am as an adult to be part of a community and a career (theatre) that requires people, virtually upon meeting, to be completely open, vulnerable and trusting with each other.

This is such a true statement, both the OP and the commenter above me. Recently my boyfriend and I joined my sister and my 3 year old niece for dinner, and while we waited, my niece and another little girl who was also waiting on a table with her family laughed and played and talked like they'd known each other for years. The day before, I was wishing I didn't have such a jealous streak towards other girls. My niece, and you, have made me think.

It's sorta like Kindergarden noone has tempered with your mind yet so your free. Ignorance is bliss...
