I know I don't know you, but I'm really glad you didn't die.
I've been there and I've come to realize that for every hellish, frustrating, painful thing in life, there's a dozen tiny things that make it worth it.
good for you! I'm so glad you changed your mind :) If you don't already play an instrument, you should consider it! because I agree with you, music sometimes just makes us feel better. plus that way, whenever you play you can be reminded of the good and how it saved your life! :]
I was trying to view the comments when i accidentally clicked "no that makes me sleepy" this doesn't make me sleepy at all i have been through this before and i wish the best for you! :)
Music is the strongest drug this world has to offer
Stef it's the modern "I'm bored and society has insulated me from pain" situation. They consider suicide because they have no internal or external resources. Music is a start. Someone else made a great suggestion about picking up an instrument. Engross yourself in learning the music you love, write your own, and get out and join a band.
Sasha, please keep holding on. I'm so thankful you found life in your music, it is definitely a magical thing. You are a beautiful person and even if everything feels really hard right now, keep pushing through the pain, and it will get better. I'm here for you if you need anything.
Last year, I was really depressed and suicidel, and more then once I would sit around and think about killing myself but then I would think "The only problem is that I wont be able to listen to music anymore" and that was the only reason I didnt do it
I read a suggestion in these comments that said you should learn to play an instrument.
I can tell already that you'll be phenomenal at it. Why? Because since music helped save your life you will be able to put pure passion into. And that passion will shine through when you play an instrument.
For some reason I picture a piano.
What do you think about learning the piano?
What ever the instrument, whatever the song, I know you'll be able put all your heart and soul in to it.
I'm glad you're still here. :-)
Been there, i'm a huge audiophile. I have an enter playlist of songs that have saved my life.
