Today, I know I have an incredible capacity for love. But sometimes I feel ruined, like I can't feel it or express it the way other people do. I know I will only get lonelier if this continues. I don't know what happened to make me stop being selfless and start withdrawing. I feel stuck right now, and I don't know what to do. But every day I am grateful for the people who love me in spite of this. They are the reason I'm still pushing forward. MMT

When times are dark it seems all the world vanishes and the only thing to see is the pain inside. But when the pain is gone and you can look up and see the brilliance and beauty and infinite wonder of this world it makes it all worth it. I understand how you feel. Like light. Like you were made to shine and love unconditionally every last thing in this life. And that when it starts going away and you just can't that you lose your sense of self. How to get back to that and feel that and love again. Hang in there. Ask for help if you can. But know that when you come back there world will be happy to see your love again. It'll be ok. Hang in there. You are supported and cared for and even if I don't know you, we don't know you, your love and devotion and importance in this world is not unnoticed or unappreciated.

I hope you will soon get back to the self you want to be. Don't give up on yourself. Spite cookie - your words are beautiful.

Victor Hugo said "The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved -- loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves."

this one sweetheart??????????????

Wow. I feel the exact same way. Most of the time I feel as though words are insufficient to express how I feel. My friend and my brother both passed away last winter and I keep on doing things, but I don't feel as if it makes any difference.
