Today, I saw a man leaning over the bridge crying. I went to see what was wrong and when he turned around I realized it was the man that attacked me several years ago.The thought of him scared me for the longest time. Turns out that if I hadn't stopped to see if he was okay, he was going to jump. I just saved my attacker's life. Now I'm sitting here left wondering why it was him who I had to run into today. MMT

In a strange way it's very appropriate. He hurt you (at least emotionally / psychologically ). In helping to heal him of his problems, you also began the healing process on yourself. Very touching.

Because God gets his jollies off on making you think about saving your attacker for the rest of your life. Hopefully, you don't regret it.

I think you are very strong and mature. Even though what he did to you was wrong, you did the right thing. This world needs more people like you in it.

Thank you everybody. It took me a few day's but I have come to realize that I am happy with what I did. To be able to forgive is one of the biggest things in this world that people need to be more open to.
