Today, I found out my friend's boyfriend grew up with an alcoholic mother and an abusive, alcoholic father. He worked two full-time jobs over the summer to pay his mom's rent, and is at school now, where he has a 4.0 GPA. He tutors elementary school kids. He also does his friends' homework, for money, so he can pay for his own substance abuse. MMT

Hey Aswath, the post basically says that while her friend's boyfriend has overcome so much, he, too, is struggling with substance abuse. And it's heartbreaking, because you know the man has come so far, but he's still managed to follow in his parents' footsteps... and that's not really a good thing. I hope, OP, that that boy/man is able to defeat his addictions. It's obvious he could do so much with his life. Thanks for the MMT.

Oh My Goodness!! When I Access MMT from my Nokia C2-00, I could not see the last line! Honestly! I saw kaybirdii's comments and i borrowed my friends laptop to see where i got wrong!! I'm sorry for the wrong comments guys, now that knowing the rea story of it, i feel the same. The funny thing is my continues ignorance and foolishness MMT. Thanks to dzbx and kaybirdii for correcting me. I've decided to access MMT through laptop only!
