It's really quite sad today, how dependent we've become on technology... Is facebook really such a big deal now that it has the power to ruin relationships?

This exact thing happened to me. I'm a junior in high school, and my mom's moving back to where she's going to be happy, but I'm staying here. On Facebook, I made two comments about how quickly the packing was going, and she took it the wrong way. We got into a huge fight about everything. I immediately deleted my account.
