Today, after waking up from another horrible nightmare, I realized how abnormal my frequent nightmares are. You see, I don't dream that I'm falling, or dying, or being chased by some evil monster. In all of my nightmares, I am the monster. MMT

In my nightmares, my friends usually die. Normally because of something I do. This haunts me everyday. I know your pain.

THAT is very interesting. (Sorry... that seems like a weird thing to say. But I truly find it intriguing...)

Can I have your nightmares? they sound much better than the weird dreams I have.

What makes you think that's abnormal? And what makes them horrible? Maybe approach being reactive from a different angle.

The fact that the dreams are horrible to you means that you aren't a monster. The mind can do just interesting things.

Dreams about monsters come from repressed emotions. The monster may represent a side of your personality that makes you uncomfortable. This dream often means that you would do well to consider a change of direction, or give up a bad habit that's unhealthy for you.

You're not the only one who has dreams like this.

I'd get help...

I'm the same way :( the worst one was where I dreamt that I had raped my friend and she wouldn't forgive me. It was horrible. I had to go to court and everything. I also dream that my friends find out what a massive jerk I am.
