it depends... I don't think I prefere that much of ingenuity, you certainly have more fun but you can't appreciate some other stuff that are great. All the problems come and go, our experience is what makes us solve them easier or not.
Be cautious: they know more than you think, and will pick up on your feelings.

I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but "knowing nothing and believing in everything" reminded me of an old Evanescence song called Fields of Innocence. It's a great song and it captures quite well this wistful feeling...or at least, I thought so.
Exactly what I was going to say. The lyrics in Field of Innocence: "I want to go back to believing in everything and knowing nothing at all." Almost exactly the same :S
