Today, as I stared at my happy, enthusiastic four year old son, I couldn’t help but wish that I could go back to knowing nothing and believing in everything the way he does. MMT

ignorance is bliss...

it depends... I don't think I prefere that much of ingenuity, you certainly have more fun but you can't appreciate some other stuff that are great. All the problems come and go, our experience is what makes us solve them easier or not.

Be cautious: they know more than you think, and will pick up on your feelings. The death of hope, creativity, inquisitiveness, and contentedness is a choice, albeit one made without awareness by most people.

I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but "knowing nothing and believing in everything" reminded me of an old Evanescence song called Fields of Innocence. It's a great song and it captures quite well this wistful feeling...or at least, I thought so.

stolen directly off Fields of Innocence by Evanescence. :| xx
