Today, my father’s mistress saved my mother’s life when she ran into our fire-engulfed house and pulled my mother out to safety two minutes before the roof collapsed. MMT

Such a bittersweet thing. On one hand, your mother is alive, and that's all that matters. Be thankful for that every day. But on the other hand, now everytime you think of how lucky you are yo have her, it's linked with the memory of that woman.

"That woman"? What about the memory of her or his cheating father? Share the blame.

If my mom was saved from death I wouldn't really care what the memory was linked to. Only that my mom is alive! The other woman, whatever she may have been doing is a HERO.

This is where Love and Unconditional Love cross paths.

Things are at the same time more complex and more simple than you make them. My s.o. Could never cheat on me because we are open, comfortably so. His body is not mine to command, nor mine his. And if anything it had made us closer as a couple.
