Thanks for sharing this Jona. This makes me sad, because I went through something similar last year, when one of my college best friends (and long-time 'complicated' crush) was taken away from this life suddenly. Since his death, I have been wondering how I will be feeling, and if my mind will still be wandering at the possibilities of what would have happened if he wasn't taken so early. This gives me chills, and makes me sad, but hopeful at the same time to think that his memory will still be with me as my life goes on. I like that you are holding on to that ring, and am sure I will be doing the same.
