You don't have to go out all the time to find somebody.
Smile! You are beautiful!
Beowulf, I think the point is actually, you don't always need somebody to be happy. It's an individual call.
If you liked being alone, you wouldn't care about finding a husband.
I hear what you're saying. My mom and grandmother have subtly been dropping hints that I'm still single at the age of 18 (like "Oh look, isn't that guy cute? Not for me of course, but for someone your age"). Do whatever makes you happy!
same. she also tells me that i have to be pretty so that i can "have more options"
doesn't matter. if you like being alone, stay that way! and if not, you will find someone, on your own terms, in your own time.
I'm almost in high school and I'm sitting in front of my computer screen at 10:27 PM, illuminated by the radiating blue glow, planning to watch episodes of Doctor Who and read stories until 3 in the morning. During school, I walk around reading a book, thinking about things inside my head, drawing pictures.
And I love every minute of it.
Although I hope I meet someone, and not be alone forever..maybe this is just a phase. But I love spending time alone.
I preferred to spend most of high school alone to. I enjoyed it, until I started going out with the girl I now plan on marrying. I almost let her go, too. you'll know when you've found the right person when they come along, you don't need to actively seek them out.
