Today I ran into this girl I used to pick on in high school. Not only is she now incredibly beautiful, she was still extremely nice--despite all of my cruelty--as I served her dinner. She even left a hefty tip. MMT.

I find myself being served or otherwise the customer of people who bullied me or were good friends with people who bullied me in high school. I'm always polite, and I tip well if applicable. Some of my friends ask me why, knowing how much I hated high school, and I tell them that if I hold a grudge and treat them badly, then the cycle will just continue and nobody will win.

And what if she had been ugly and jaded because you helped whittle away all sense of self-esteem and faith in humanity she had? Would it still have made you think?

I agree with Shanyn, would you have noticed so much if she was ugly and a bitch to you. Would you have been angry for the way she treated you when you deserved it? Bullies are such disgusting people.
