I'd join you, but we're worlds apart. Message me back if you'd like a friend. I'd like one too.
That's me most of the time. If you want someone to talk to message me back. :)
I'd join you, but there's nothing from way over here, except offer my support.
Message me if you need someone to talk to. :)
They're off being shy and lonely too. Maybe you should join them, instead of waiting for someone else to approach you.
Go find someone like you and befriend them :) Most of the time I'm just like you but over time I have realized that sometimes you just need to let go and put yourself out there; it might just change your life!
I've been where you are. It takes effort, courage, and a little willingness to fail. It also takes the ability not to take failure personally! You won't be friends with everyone you meet, but if you wait for someone to come to you, you won't meet anybody at all.
Take small steps. Say "hi" to a stranger. And talk. If it works out, it works out. If not, then try again with another stranger. :) It's terrifying, but after a while, it gets easier.
In elementary school, I was the only Asian kid in my mostly white school. I got discriminated against something terrible. For six years, I sat alone in the cafeteria and spent my recesses reading books. When I got to middle school, I made a conscious decision to put that lonely past behind me and to put myself out there. After all, how much worse could it get? I was already lonely, so there were no friends to lose: just all the friends in the world to gain. I started out like I just advised you to: I walked up to a girl sitting by herself in the cafeteria, grinned, and said Hi. She was my first friend in middle school, and we ended up being friends through high school. From there, it just snowballed. So just say "hi" to a stranger and see how it goes. :)
I may be a lonely college graduate, but message me if you need a friend. I remember all too well what high school was like.
I definitely know how you feel. & we all know that there are people out there in the same situation as us, unfortunately.. those people are sometimes very difficult to find.
She's right here, in a small town in Rhode Island.
One girl exactly like you is in Michigan, sitting in front of a computer screen at 10:22 PM planning to watch episodes of Doctor Who until 3 in the morning.
A girl sits behind this computer and gets teased everyday of her life, yet shes the nicest sweetest thing shes ever met and has never hurt a flu. She'd love to be your friend
