Today, a high school coach from a nearby town was in a car crash. He got out of his vehicle to make sure that everyone was all right, and he was hit by another car and died on the spot. My mother, a school psychologist, works in his district. Today, 15 football players from the coach’s team came into her office, sat down, and cried. MMT

I feel like this is trying to say something about the perceived emotional state of football players, & I think it's a bad message. Why shouldn't people cry for a dead mentor?

I was about to say the same thing, and also your mother should not being sharing this information with you especially if you are going to put this on the internet.

I think this should be taken down, imagine any additional drama this could bring to those 15 kids.

Who knows with this website. They change every story that comes through anyway. Knowing them, they probably just added the school psychologist part.

While even though I agree with all of the comments, playing devilms advocate, even if all of the comments are true, and even if the poster agrees with all of the comments, it doesn't mean that it still didn't make the poster think. This site is that, 'makes me think,' and I suppose that that's just what the situatuion did? Even though the boys should obviously be allowed to cry, and the mother shouldn't have shared.
