Today, I realized that although I am converting to a new religion, getting tutored regularly, studying every day, attending services, performing good deeds and will one day be responsible for the education of my children, in my country I am considered in every way to be inferior to a man. Fighting institutionalized sexism every day while dealing with social norms and outdated rituals and traditions MMT.

This did not make me think, nor did it make me sleepy. I am completely okay with whatever religion anyone has, as long as it does not harm others. But when you said "be responsible for the education of my children" I hope that wasn't you saying you were going to force the teachings of your religion onto your kids. Forcing religion is a horrible thing to do, especially because your religion is (for some reason) fighting society's views. Would you really feel happy forcing a kid into that, what would you have achieved other than pushing a young child into harm's way, let them figure out what they want to be. it may start with them being religion-less, but later in their life. They might find a religion that they strongly believe in. And that will give them a greater spiritual connection than "Oh, my parent's forced me into it" tl;dr do not force religion on children, it's more spiritually rewarding

Huh. ltlime said it for me.
