Makes Me Think - Today, nearly a full month after our blow-out argument, I picked up my phone to call my best friend, Jade, for the first time since I stormed out of her apartment and told her that “she was dead to me.” But just as I picked up my phone, it rang with a weird number. It was her brother’s mobile number, he was calling to tell me that Jade had been in a serious car accident late last night and that their parent’s were requesting the presence of close friends and family at the hospital, because “Jade’s fate is still questionable.” I’m here now, beside her, wishing I could take it all back.
