I think that the poster was trying to make a point by saying that this is their first child and now he is never going to meet his child. GO TROLL somwhere else, you losers. To the poster, I am so sorry for your loss, take comfort in the fact that you will have a beautiful memeory of your son.

I understood the point of the tragedy that father & child will never meet. I am also sorry for the OP's loss. I take umbrage at the incorrect usage of 'first', implying further children.

I'm sorry for your loss. I imagine few things in life would be as bittersweet as watching your grandchild grow up without your son. I hope though that there is some joy and healing for both you and your daughter in law.
