Today, the man I am in love with put another picture of his deceased wife and him posing in a new frame. We have been together for about a year and a half now, and even though he says he loves me, he has yet to put up a picture of me. This afternoon I realized, by the sparkling of the new frame, how dusty the other frames of the two of them had become, and so as I do almost every week, I dusted them off for him. MMT

How many pictures of them together does he have framed? Because I can understand him having two or three framed but your phrasing makes it seem like there are quite a few more than that and that the more he puts up, the more you feel like he doesn't care about you. You should tell him how you feel and actually ask if you can take some down and put up some of you together instead because though she was an important person in his life and he should preserve his memories with her, he should also be creating new memories with you. If he refuses then it might be a sign that he never actually got over her and is simply lying to himself and pretending he has by being in a relationship with you. If you feel that is the case then what you do is up to you because you could try to get him help so you can salvage the relationship or give up on it and break up with him because he might never get over her or anything in between.
