Today, when I told my dad that I hated him before I left for school, I didn’t think there was a possibility that I wouldn’t be able to take it back. But now as I stare at him lying here, hooked up to feeding tubes and a breathing machine, I’m dying inside too. MMT

It's not too late. He can probably still hear you, and even if he cannot, you owe it to yourself to try and make things right. Tell him how you feel. If you're sorry, say so, and if there is love in your heart, share it.

Teenagers often say things like that, and everyone knows they're just saying it on impulse and they don't really mean it. Your dad knows this, and he'll understand. He loves you and he knows you love him and one silly comment can't change that.
