I tend to say "no" to my son sometimes when I can easily say "yes" and spend more time with him, and don't even realize it. I hope I can remember this every time I think of telling him "no" and change that to a "yes" whenever possible.
I want him to always expect positive things from his mother and only role model :)
Reading this made me cry because I'm in the same boat. It hurts to realize that my kids have come to think of me like this. I don't want to be a "no" anymore.
This gave me chills. I hope your child recieves more "yes" 's in the future.
Imagine if that was the last time he asked and you said no and he never asked again. I don't have kids but I don't get to see my nephews much and would love to play with them.
