@drmrb; I don't think it's fake. It depends on how old the brother is. Maybe he was too young to really understand what the testing was and that it was something having to do with him. I feel bad :(

He could have had blood taken for a different reason and had it discovered accidentally.

guys, just think, if this is real, then your saying he's faking his brother having such a serious illness? think how he could feel if he isnt faking it....!

People fake stories here all the time. I hate it when parents lie to their kids about their terminal illness. There was a story in the news not to long ago about a teenage girl given three years to live, her mom hid it from her, she lived four and died while training to get into the Royal Air Force or whatever the Brits call themselves. Maybe she wouldn't have made long term plans if she knew her future. Maybe she wouldn't have picked fights and worried about petty nonsense like all teenagers do.
