Today, I received a call from my city's battered Women's shelter. I'm a college student and was assigned to volunteer for the organization. I assumed they were calling about me helping them with their new campaign. Turns out, they were calling because they were informed that I'm in an abusive relationship. It only happened once. MMT

I respectfully disagree, but admit to not having the statistics on the matter. None of you has ever learned - to your horror - what you were capable of doing, and swore never to do it again? This is how you learn about yourself. But I do agree twice is definitely enough.

I disagree about once being enough. People CAN change, and singular things CAN happen. But don't let it happen more than once.
