Today, I’m in Iraq on my third tour of duty fighting for a cause I no longer believe in. And I want to go home. But ever since I caught my wife having an affair 6 months ago, I’m not sure I know where home is anymore. MMT

We're not all like that. I waited for my husband while he served a year-long tour in Iraq. Someone will wait for you, too. Go find her and feel at-home again.

You will find where home is- be strong. Someone, somewhere is thinking of you. Go home and find where home is!

I am so sorry this has happened to you. I can't even fathom what you're going through. My best friend just came home from his 3 tour injured.. Please make it back safely. Someone, somewhere out there no matter who it may be is waiting for your smile to return. Take care, soldier and thank you for what you do

Consider it in your heart to forgive her. She, much like you, likely felt lonely and is only human. Her love for you was probably not ruined by this. Think of all you've got to win.

@spicard23, It doesn't matter how lonely you get, cheating is NEVER an option. You don't cheat on someone you love. I feel horrible for this poor man, but honestly, be glad she's out of your life. When you're back overseas, and ever find yourself anywhere near Tampa, FL, send me a message, I'll buy you a drink or a toke.

I don't know you but I honor and respect you. You're much braver than I or most Americans will ever be. You will find a "home". You will find a woman who can't keep her eyes off you and who waits anxiously by the phone just to hear your voice. She's the one you want. (thank you for your service)

spicard23 Your comment is insensitive and probably due to your own desire for feelings of forgiveness due to your own cheating behavior. The fact is when your serving your country life is harder than most people can even imagine. One of the main promises a service member makes himself is that the one he or she loves will there when they come home. If this important person abandons them through infidelity it can greatly magnify the painful effects of wartime service to a level that makes life feel meaningless for a long, long time. So Soldier if you are reading this thank you, you will get through this, you will be happy again, you will be happier than before because she was no good for you and you deserve better. Your next will be better and on day you will say I am glad this happened. Until then take care hero. You country thanks you!

I have space on the other side of the bed. You could stay there until there is somewhere else.

This happens too often :/ Thank you for your service! Please believe we have not forgot about you back home! And yes, someone is thinking of you somewhere. You can get through this. Hopefully when you get back, you'll figure out where "home" is.

dear soldier, please know that your sacrifice means more to us americans than u can understand.also know that u will find a real true love that will stay with u through thick and thin.dont let things get u down for there is a rainbow out there for u. god bless u on your tour and future endeavors

You can make a home in my home, where ever the Navy decides to take me in the next few months. :) cheer up, I believe in you, even if she didn't.

I know that it is hard, I was cheated on too. By someone who I thought I could trut. Even though home may not be with your wife, there is still your family; and you never know who else is missing your smile(:

Which is worse, adultery or murder?

Thank you for your bravery and risking your life for our freadom. Come back safely, dont let her infidelity give you any reason to stop trying. When you come home, you will find someone to be faithful to you. She may not have appreciated you, but you are much appreciated for all youve done by me.
